Photo gallery in wordpress allows you to upload pictures easily using the add media option. Now when you are creating a wordpress photo gallery you have to consider some factors, like the wordpress photo gallery should not be very heavy to load, By that i mean that the wordpress photo gallery should not take long to open each image. When somebody click on any picture of the wordpress photo gallery, the image should open fast. Also when somebody click on any of the thumbnails on wordpress image gallery the image should open in a box the size of the image that pops over the gallery.   1. Imsanity: this is a plugin that automatically resized the resolution of the images uploaded to wordpress photo gallery to within range as specified in its settings. Which would mean smaller file size of each image of the photo gallery. Smaller size of the wordpress photo gallery each image would mean faster loading time.   2. Simplest Gallery Plugin: This is a plugin which produces a popup when somebody clicks on the thumbnail in our wordpress photo gallery. This kind of popup is officially called as lightbox. It turns the background behind the lightbox shady and whole focus of the visitor goes to the lightbox. Just open the add new posts option or add new page option or just edit an exiting page/post and click on add media on the top of the wordpress editor and add the files that you want to upload to the wordpress image gallery. You can select multiple files to upload and they will all the uploaded at once and and you will see even if you add images that are bigger than 1000 x 1000 pixel they will automatically be resized without loosing their width to height proportion. once you have all the images uploaded  you will see the following screen

Now next you need to click on Create a New Gallery Button, to see the following screen.image-gallery-pluginNow in this screen you can adjust the settings on the top right hand side, like how many images you want in a row, so if you select 4 columns here you will see 4 images in one row. You can also drag and drop the images to change the order in which the images will appear in the gallery. You can as well add captions to each gallery image below it if you want. After doing the settings etc you can click on the insert gallery button at the bottom right and your gallery would be inserted in the post/page and will look like you should clock on the update button to update this post so that it appears on the post/page in our case Post: demo post, which will look like the following in the default 2016 when you click on an image you will see the lightbox like on the following screen and it also gives the option to browse through images one by one by clicking in the right or left pointer which appears on the image when you take your mouse pointer towards left or right.wordpress-image-lightbox-pluginThanx for taking out the time to read by Post hope you liked it.
